Douglas Propeller Transports
Relaunch of the DC-3/C-47 Dakota SIG, founded by the late David Gait. The intention is to expand its scope, renamed as the Douglas Propeller Transports SIG to cover all Douglas types from DC-1 to DC-7, along with licence build airframes, DC-2 / DC-3 Dakota derivatives such as the Bolo and Dragon and re-engineered turbo prop variants. Open to modellers building in all scales, or those with an interest in the subject. From the first flight of the Douglas DC-1 in 1933, many Douglas propeller types remain in civilian and military service today.
