CANCELLED – Scale Model Show at Tangmere Military Aviation Museum – 2020

Following a meeting with Tangmere Military Aviation Museum today, we regret to announce that Scale Model Show will NOT be going ahead on 3rd May 2020. The advice re Covid-19 and social gatherings has changed rapidly in the last few days leaving us and the museum with no alternative. We hope to re-schedule the show at some point later in the year. Whilst we are contacting as many people as we can as quickly as possible, please spread the word to avoid someone having a wasted journey. Sometimes there are things in life that are bigger than modelling. We all wish you keep safe, look after each other and we look forward to seeing you soon

The third scale model show to be held at this iconic museum. Hosted by Tangmere Sector Modellers IPMS
The day will include club displays and traders from all over the south east region.
An open competition with 12 categories (entry for the competition is £2 per entry, free for under 16s).
A BBQ, licensed beer tent, Airfix make and take. The Bill Leadbetter Memorial Trophy for US Military Aircraft and M.A.N Models Best in Show Club Display.
Also  a great raffle with amazing prizes (£2 per strip).
Gates open at 10am, entry costs £10 (adult), with a 20% discount for anyone presenting an in-date IPMS membership card. £8 for children between 5 – 16yrs. There is plenty of free parking with disabled access.
